Rachel Buckley won a state title as a player at Hebron (Carrollton, Texas) and now third-year coach has the Hawks climbing in the MaxPreps Top 25 high school volleyball rankings after winning their second tournament title in as many weeks.

Hebron climbs 17 spots to No. 7 this week after winning Volleypalooza in Austin this weekend. The Hawks dropped one set over three days while beating Mount St. Mary (Oklahoma City, Okla.), No. 18 Duncanville and No. 8 Prestonwood Christian (Plano) in bracket play. Senior middle Marley Rogers earned MVP honors.

Last week, Hebron jumped into the MaxPreps Top 25 after winning the Northwest ISD Classic title.

Just the second coach in school history, Buckley was part of Hebron's 2010 state title team. The Hawks won five championships under Karin Keeney before Buckley took over in 2024.
