High school football is fast approaching as teams in Louisiana are preparing to hit the field later this month.
Ahead of the 2023 season, we are highlighting the top 10 returning seniors in the state according to 247Sports.
The top-ranked player in the state is
Dominick McKinley of
Acadiana (Lafayette), who is regarded as the No. 31 overall prospect in the country and No. 7 among defensive linemen. The 6-5, 290-pounder had 86 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and 10 sacks for a squad that reached the second round of the state playoffs.
