The North Carolina High School Athletic Association state playoffs are underway this week as teams across eight classifications are fighting to earn a trip to Wake Forest for the title games March 11-14.
In addition to the expansion from four to eight classes,
Reidsville is expected to be a big story as it makes a run at a third consecutive state title. The Rams are in Class 4A this season after being in 2A for their 2024 and 2025 title runs.
Reidsville is led by senior
Dionte Neal, who has a 105-2 record and 2,581 points in his career. The UNC-Greensboro signee is averaging 35.5 points, 8.5 assists and 6.4 steals per game this season.
