High school basketball rankings: CIA-Bella Vista finishes No. 1 in final National Top 10

CIA-Bella Vista (Phoenix, Ariz.) captured its first Chipotle Nationals title over the weekend with a 69-65 victory over Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) in the championship game.

The upstart Arizona program knocked off MaxPreps Top 25 No. 1 Paul VI (Chantilly, Va.) 79-67 in the quarterfinals before defeating Dynamic Prep (Irving, Texas) 81-62 in the semifinals.

CIA-Bella Vista (26-4) was led by West Virginia signee Miles Sadler, who earned Nike EYBL Scholastic MVP honors after  averaging 19.2 points, 5.7 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 2.1 steals per contest in league play.
Top 10 junior Paul Osaruyi (8.3 points, 5.2 rebounds), four-star junior Lyris Robinson (8.3 points, 3.2 rebounds), top 60 Indiana signee Vaughn Karvala (7.1 points, 2.6 rebounds) and 7-foot-1 senior Amadou Seini (7.1 points, 6.5 rebounds) rounded out the starting rotation.

CIA-Bella Vista outscored opponents by 13.9 points per contest and won its final 10 games of the year. The Bears finished the regular season with an 11-3 record in Nike EYBL Scholastic play before claiming the conference tournament championship.
