In September, U.S. Air Force Lt. Colonel Robert Montes returned a month early from Afghanistan and surprised his daughter Lucielle Lopez-Hernandez, a senior drum major in the Taft (San Antonio) band.

When a member of the military returns from duty overseas, it's always an emotional moment when he or she sees their family for the first time.
