High school basketball: Behind Jason Crowe Jr., Inglewood headlines list of highest-scoring teams

Oklahoma and Washington feature multiple teams in the nation’s top 10.

The nation's highest-scoring high school basketball team also boasts the top individual scorer in the country.

Inglewood (Calif.) entered the week averaging a national-best 94.9 points per game led by senior Jason Crowe Jr, who currently sits atop the scoring leaderboard at 43.8 points per game. The Sentinels have scored 100 points or more nine times this season, including 125 in the season opener and a season-high 135 on Jan. 23 against Lawndale.

Read on below for a look at the nation's 40 highest-scoring teams according to data submitted to MaxPreps. Since teams in Minnesota and Wisconsin play 36-minute games instead of 32, those states were placed in separate lists.

Richland (Wash.) ranks No. 2 in the country at 93.7 points per game. The Bombers (19-0) are a Class 4A state championship contender led by Lance Horntvedt, Landen Northrop and Jackson Woodard.

Washington also boasts another top 10 scoring team in Rainier Beach (Seattle), which is led by consensus No. 1 prospect in the Class of 2026 Tyran Stokes. The 6-foot-7 five-star wing scored a career-high 63 points Tuesday in a 107-38 win over West Seattle.

Rainier Beach, which came into the week averaging 89.0 points per game, will also be featured in the MaxPreps Game of the Week on Friday at Eastside Catholic (Sammamish).

No. 3 on the list is Shaktoolik (Alaska) at 93.1 points a night. The reigning Class 1A state champions, the Wolverines have put up triple-digits in four of their previous six games, including a season-high 135 on Jan. 30.
