That's because a star-studded recruiting class is on its way, highlighted by defensive tackle
Andrew Brown and
Bayside (Virginia Beach, Va.) safety
Quin Blanding.
Blanding is a rangy, athletic safety who, at 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, is big and physical enough to match up with almost any receiver.
As a junior, he was an All-Tidewater pick and also earned MaxPreps Junior All-American honors.
According to the 247Composite, Blanding is the nation's No. 1 safety and the No. 7-ranked recruit overall.
Virginia will be getting more than just a good football player, however.
According to Bayside head coach Darnell Moore, Blanding is a well-rounded individual.
"He'll contribute to your team in so many ways and then he'll contribute to your university as a person," Moore
told the Daily Progress. "When you get a good student, a good athlete and a good person, you can't ask for anything more than that."
