High school football is fast approaching as teams in Alabama are preparing to hit the field later this month.
Ahead of the 2023 season, we are highlighting the top 10 returning seniors in the state according to 247Sports.
The state's top-ranked player is
Jordan Ross of
Vestavia Hills, who is regarded as the No. 12 overall prospect nationally and the No. 2 defensive end. The 6-4, 230-pounder had 49 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks for a squad that reached the second round of the state playoffs last fall.
