Elijah Holyfield experienced quite a day on Friday.
The highly touted four-star recruit
according to 247Sports committed to Georgia over Auburn and others in a lunchtime ceremony held at his school.
Later that evening, the senior running back kicked off his season with a bang.
After missing the team's opener due to injury, Holyfield erupted for four touchdowns, rushing 18 times for 183 yards, to lead Woodward Academy to a 36-29 victory over St. Pius X.
Two of the scores came in overtime, including the game-winning touchdown in the second extra frame.
Holyfield will look to stay hot when Woodward takes on Lovett on Friday.
Elijah Holyfield found the end zone four times in his first game of the season.
