The 2026 high school volleyball season is underway in several states with more on the way in the coming weeks.
From returning All-Americans to up-and-comers, players were identified based on last year's statistical data provided to MaxPreps as well as local, state or national honors.

Alabama Alice Wood, McGill-Toolen (Mobile)
5-8 | Setter | Senior | Committed to Kansas StateHad 840 assists for the No. 24 team in the final MaxPreps Top 25. Helped the Yellowjackets to a 47-2 mark and fourth straight state title. She has piled up 2,868 assists heading into her final season.

Led the Cardinals with 591 kills as they went 27-6-1 and reached the Class 5A state championship match.

Westley Matavao, Mater Dei (Santa Ana)
6-0 | Outside hitter | Senior | Committed to UCLAPiled up 409 serve receptions, 394 kills, 177 digs, 37 aces and 32 blocks as Mater Dei won the Open Division state title and finished No. 2 in the national rankings.

Posted 280 kills, 53 aces and 33 solo blocks in 2025 as the Raptors went 25-0 with a second straight Class AA title.
