Nebraska's most improved high school volleyball teams

Anselmo-Merna jumps rankings by 133 spots over last season to claim most-improved headed into district play.

With the high school volleyball season heading into subdistrict and district play this week, we have crunched the numbers in hopes of discovering which Cornhusker State volleyball programs have improved the most from a year ago. And we think we have nailed it down.

After climbing 133 spots over last season in the MaxPreps Volleyball Computer rankings, and improving its won-loss record by 12 games, Anselmo-Merna volleyball earns the title "Most Improved" in Nebraska. The Coyotes are nearly in our Top 100, and with a deep postseason run should improve their stock higher yet.

Twin River and McCook round out the Top Three, respectively, after moving up 241 spots collectively. Every classification is represented in this week's Top 10 except for Class A. Nebraska's largest classification is represented by Omaha Burke and its 65 spot jump to this point in the season.
