1. Kaleena Smith, Ontario Christian (Ontario, Calif.)5-6 | Junior | Uncommitted
The
MaxPreps National Sophomore of the Year averaged 23.2 points, 8.1
rebounds and
4.5 steals as the Knights finished ranked No. 5. Smith was also named the top freshman in 2023-24 and is considered by some to be the No. 1 overall
player regardless of class.
2. Kate Harpring, Marist (Atlanta, Ga.)5-10 | Senior | North Carolina
A
repeat MaxPreps All-American, she could surpass 3,000 career points
this season. Last year, she averaged 32.3 points, 9.8 rebounds, 5.1
steals, 3.3 assists for the Eagles (29-3).
5-8 | Senior | Kentucky
Enters the season with 4,454
career points and could make a run at not only the state scoring record,
but a top 10 finish on the all-time career scoring list. She averaged 32.8
points, 8.7
assists, 7.2 rebounds and 4.8 steals per game as the Lions went 29-0
with a Class 2A title.
4. Jezelle Banks, The St. James Performance Academy (Springfield, Va.)5-8 | Junior | Uncommitted
Last year, she helped Ursuline Academy in Delaware reach the state semifinal averaging 21.7 points, 4.8 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 3.1 steals per game. She transferred to the first-year program in Virginia and will quarterback a lineup that includes Jordyn Jackson, Ashley MacCalla and Jada Dixon.
5. Autumn Fleary, Sidwell Friends (Washington, D.C.)5-7 | Senior | Duke
Was the second-leading scorer on a team that went 27-4 and finished No. 6 in the country. She averaged
14.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists in her first season at Sidwell.
5-7 | Senior | Texas
Filled the stat sheet with 19.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 3.8 steals per night as the Gaels went 17-8 and reached the Class 5A semifinals.
5-8 | Senior | Louisville
Helped the Westerville South (Westerville) to a 21-6 record while averaging 18.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.0 steals per game. She had eight games last season where she dropped more than 20 points.
8. Rieyan DeSouze, Legion Preparatory Academy (Dallas, Texas)
5-7 | Senior | Texas A&M
Ranked in the top 40 overall in her class and the No. 6 point among seniors, she averaged 8.9 points per night for the Bulldogs last season.
9. K.K. Holman, Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, Ind.)
5-8 | Senior | Florida
Helped the Royals to a 27-1 mark and Class 4A semifinal berth while averaging 12.2 points, 5.8 assists and 5.3 rebounds per night.
