Bullis (25-6) led 30-27 at the break and used a 16-10 burst in the third quarter to gain control of the contest.
The Bulldogs would build 13-point lead on a Nwuda bucket with 5:49 left in the game before the Mustangs would cut the advantage to eight on a Samuels' 3-pointer and two free throws from
Nyair McCoy.
But Bullis converted 10 of 18 free throws down the stretch to hold off a comeback bid by Bishop McNamara, which only managed three field goals over the final 5:07 of the game.
Jaylah King led the way for Bishop McNamara (29-3) with 18 while McCoy scored 15 and Samuels chipped in 14. King and Samuels earned all-tournament honors.
