The longest win streak in high school baseball history is 89 in a row by
Portsmouth (N.H.) from 2008-12. That record has been approached twice in recent seasons.
Eaton (Colo.) began the 2025 season with 69 straight wins but saw its streak end at 74 in a row.
In 2023,
St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, Mich.) got to 84 in a row before suffering a loss.

Portsmouth's streak is safe for this year as no team is within 55 wins of tying the record. Three teams begin the season with 30 or more consecutive wins led by
Forest Hills Eastern (Ada, Mich.) with 41 and
Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, N.J.) at 34 in a row.
Forest Hills Eastern went 42-1 last year in winning a state championship while Governor Livingston has won back-to-back state titles and went 28-0 last season.
Pioneer Valley Regional (Northfield, Mass.), meanwhile, is at 30 in a row.
With the top three teams playing in states that get off to a late start, look for
Blanchard (Okla.) with 28 wins in a row, to take the lead by the end of March.
MaxPreps has compiled a list of all teams that have win streaks of 10 or more wins entering the 2025 season along with the longest win streak to begin the season in each state.
