The high school football season in Oklahoma came to a close last weekend. Bixby was among the victors, beating Deer Creek 63-14 in the Class 6A-II title game at the University of Central Oklahoma. That seven touchdown win helped propel the Spartans to the No. 1 ranking in the final MaxPreps Oklahoma Top 25.

Braylin Presley, who just received the honor for the second straight season. Presley carried the football 109 times for 1,105 yards and 17 touchdowns and caught 56 passes for 665 yards and seven more scores.
The Oklahoma State commit also returned five punts and a pair of kickoffs for 145 yards and a touchdown and completed all three of his pass attempts for 82 yards and another score.
The Spartans, winners of the last four 6A-II state championships, scored 786 points on the year, an average of 60.5 points a game. Presley and company scored 48 points or more 11 times while Loren Montgomery's club limited its foes to 144 points in 2021, an average of 11.1 points an outing. Bixby held its opposition to 15 points or less 12 times and posted a shutout.
Oklahoma power Jenks successfully defended its 2020 Class 6A-I state title and finishes the season at 12-1 and in the No. 2 spot while Oklahoma large school runner-up Union climbs in at No. 3 to end the year. Holland Hall takes over the No. 5 spot after claiming its second straight Class 3A state championship.
Cashion did not make the final Top 25 despite winning the Class A crown for the second year in a row. Claremore Christian in Class 2A and Destiny Christian in Class 3A won their brackets in Oklahoma's Heartland Christian Athletic Association.
