1. Stevens Academy (Blue Hill)
Head coach: Dwayne Carter
2015-16 record: 22-1

Stevens Academy polished off last season by nabbing the Maine Class C state championship for the first time since 2003. Taylor Schildroth should be tough to lock down after averaging 24 points and 5.8 assists in four postseason games.

2. Portland
Head coach: Joe Russo
2015-16 record: 28-1

Portland completed last season by capturing a Class AA state title. Look for guard Terion Moss to have a huge junior campaign after earning All-State second-team honors last year.

3. Falmouth
Head coach: Dave Halligan
2015-16 record: 20-5 Falmouth finished last season by claiming the Class A state championship. Watch for senior sharpshooter Sean Walsh to have a big year after draining two 3-pointers in the state title game. The Yachtsmen will be a scrappy bunch.

4. Lake Region (Naples)
Head coach: Ryan Hodgson
2015-16 record: 23-3

Lake Region ended last season by raising a Class B state title for the first time in 31 years. The Lakers are a young and gritty unit with a humongous wave of momentum heading into this year.

5. Greely (Cumberland Center)
Head coach: Travis Seaver
2015-16 record: 21-5

Greely posted 21 wins and reached the third round of the Class A playoffs last year. Expect guard Matt McDevitt to be hungry for revenge after depositing 17 points in a playoff loss to Brunswick.
