Last week was Easter Break for some of these ranked teams, a break that include a lot of baseball.

Among the highlights was new No. 5 Bellarmine beating No. 6 Davis 6-2 in the finals of the Boras Baseball Classic in Sacramento, considered a Northern California championship of sorts since there is no official CIF NorCal playoff tournament. The Fresno Easter Classic was also last week.

This week, tournament fun includes the Elite 8 at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View.

Notes:
- Bellarmine won the Boras Baseball Classic in Sacramento, defeating Davis 6-2 in the finals with ranked wins also over Serra 2-0 and Oak Ridge 5-1 behind pitchers Joe Ammirato, Jake Magobet and Lane Maxwell.
- Pleasant Valley debuts in the rankings at No. 21 after beating previously unbeaten Christian Brothers 12-4 in winning the Woodland Tournament. Tyler Egbert and Tyler Coleman are each 4-0.
- Vacaville has been paced on the mound by sophomore Carson Hawkins and junior TJ Smith, each with four victories.
- Franklin went 5-0 in the Fresno Easter Classic but could not play in the title game as it would have exceeded the allowable amount of games for the entire season. The Wildcats have been paced by Nate Thimjon as the team has gone 9-1 after a slow start.
- Behind ace Trenton Denholm, Oak Ridge has gone 9-1 of late. Denholm has three victories in the surge. One win was over previously unbeaten Tracy.
