Colerain senior cornerback
Chris Dukes verbally committed to Toledo Wednesday night. Dukes, who is 5-foot-9 1/2 and 182 pounds, had verbally committed to Louisville in September, but the Cardinals reportedly pulled their offer, according to Colerain coach Tom Bolden. Dukes is one of five Colerain players who've made Division I college commitments from the 2011 class.

Cincinnati Hills League defensive player of the year.
McNICHOLAS NAMES NEW FOOTBALL COACHMike Orlando has been the new head
football coach at
Archbishop McNicholas (Cincinnati). Orlando replaces Steve Klonne, who
announced his retirement at the end of last season. Orlando inherits a
team that was a Division III state semifinalist last season. The Rockets
lost to Bishop Watterson 20-7 on Nov. 27 in Clayton. Orlando, who has
spent the past two seasons at McNicholas as an assistant, played four
years of football at Ohio University. He has eight years of coaching on
the high school level.
