The California Interscholastic Federation released the 15 state postseason high school football brackets Sunday with Northern and Southern Regional Bowls planned for Friday and Saturday. Winners from the north and south will meet Dec. 9 and 10 as the CIF crowns state champions from the Open Division to the 7-AA bracket.
All divisions except the Open Division must win their Regional Bowl in order to advance to the state finals. The Northern and Southern Regional Bowl finalists must be section champions in one of the CIF's 11 sections.

St. John Bosco (Bellflower), No. 2 in the MaxPreps Top 25, represents Southern California in the Open Division after the Braves' 24-22 win over No. 1 Mater Dei (Santa Ana) in the Southern Section Division 1 finals. Serra (San Mateo) is the Northern California representative after its 41-14 win over Archbishop Mitty in the Central Coast Section Division I championship.
For the Regional Bowls, AA-games will be played Friday, Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m., while the A-games will be on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. Tickets are available on Wednesday at noon and available only online through the CIF's ticketing partner,

For the state finals, school hosts sites will be used for the 3-AA through the 7-A. Games will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10.
The five other finals will be at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo as follows:
