The 2021 high school football season in Kansas kicks off next week
and
MaxPreps has your look at the state's top teams. Coming off a 12-0
campaign last fall, Andale owns the No. 1 spot in our preseason
rankings.
The Indians outscored opponents 613-78 en route to the Class 3A state title last season. The state championship was the program's second consecutive and fifth since 2006. Andale owns a win streak of 25 games dating back to the first game of the 2019 season.
Other contenders for the top spot include Class 6A favorites Olathe North and Blue Valley, who debut at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.
Additional defending state champions include Derby (6A), Mill Valley (5A), St. James Academy (4A), Rossville (2A) and Olpe (1A) along with Little River and Hanover in 8-man. Four of those schools appear in the Preseason MaxPreps Top 25.
