Video: Spectacular run by Zamir White
The nation's top-rated junior running back makes everyone miss during 68-yard run.
At times,
Zamir White appears almost untouchable. On this 68-yard touchdown run Friday, he literally was. No one even laid a finger on him.
The nation's top-rated junior running back executed arguably the juke of the year after bursting through a big hole. A safety came up hard to lay a big hit, but White, nicknamed "Zeus," cut left, caused the defender to whiff and then outran the entire secondary for a spectacular touchdown sprint. He led
Scotland (Laurinburg, N.C.) to a 63-7 victory.
Georgia, Clemson and North Carolina are vying for the speedy 6-foot-1, 210-pound back, ranked the No. 4 junior recruit overall in the country by 247Sports.
The only rankings White is concerned with now is that of his team. The Fighting Scots are 10-0 and No. 5 in the state according to the
MaxPreps computer rankings presented by the Army National Guard.
