Week 9 California Bowl Game Rankings
No new No. 1 teams in this week's rankings. Oceanside, Heritage, Rancho Bernardo, Parker, Elk Grove, Pleasant Valley and Cardinal Newman join.

For one of the few times this season there were no changes among the top teams in the eight divisions of the MaxPreps California Bowl Game Rankings.
There were also just seven new teams in the eight divisions combined. Oceanside is new to the SoCal Division I rankings while Heritage (Romoland) entered the Division II rankings. Rancho Bernardo (San Diego) entered the SoCal Division III rankings and Parker (San Diego) joined the Division IV rankings.
In Northern California, Elk Grove joined the Division I rankings and Pleasant Valley (Chico) is new to the Division II rankings. Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa) was also new to the Division III rankings.
