Teams remaining at No. 1 include JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) in the West, Hamilton (Chandler, Ariz.) in the Southwest, St. Cloud Cathedral (Minn.) in the Midwest and Sulphur (La.) in the South.
The ratings are based on the
MaxPreps Computer Rankings, which are posted twice a week.
The
five regions include the West (California, Hawaii, Alaska, Oregon,
Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Colorado), Midwest (North Dakota, South
Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri,
Ohio, Nebraska, Kansas), Southwest (Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, New
Mexico), South (Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana,
Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia,
West Virginia, Maryland), and Northeast (Pennsylvania, Delaware, New
Jersey, District of Columbia, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts,
Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine).
Teams are listed with their record (some records may be incomplete) with the computer rating.
