Video: Highlights of Preston
Watch almost 14 minutes of highlights from Kenesaw's Preston Schnitzler.Keenan Rasmussen's ability to lay out a ballcarrier and score from afar in the return game carries him to the apex of our Top 10 Nebraska fantasy football wonders list for 2015, defensive edition.
Just like a week ago, when we listed our
Top 10 offensive wonders, we combed through MaxPreps' stat leader database for those athletes who scored sizable fantasy points using the standard scoring system applied in fantasy football.
The St. Edward junior linebacker/return specialist was credited with over 100 tackles and averaged 38.3 yards on six kick returns, scoring twice. As just a sophomore, Rasmussen did a little bit of everything on defense. But his ability to score from afar would make Rasmussen a sure-fire addition to anyone's make-believe high school fantasy football team.
While Rasmussen joins
Wynot's
Cody Stratman, last week's offensive king, atop their respective fantasy football Top 10s, Kenesaw's
Preston Schnitzler has the ultimate bragging rights as the state's only player to make both Top 10s.
The senior cornerback was in on 109 tackles but also registered 13 ½ tackles for losses, five interceptions and eight passes defended to take the No. 2 spot this week. Last week, Schnitzler was tabbed the No. 6 offensive fantasy football player.
