Update: The Wildcats, top ranked by the San Jose Mercury News, beat ranked Bellarmine 6-3 and swept Palo Alto 6-3 and 8-6 behind
Hunter Bigge, who had 10 strikeouts in the 6-3 win. The lone loss was 2-1 to Milpitas, since avenged 3-0.
2. College Park (Pleasant Hill) (2) 11-3Section: North Coast
League: Diablo Valley
Update: The Vikings have peeled off wins of 6-1, 5-0, 6-1, 5-4 and 3-0 of late, last losing to ranked California 4-0.
Joe DeMers continues to dominate, tossing a no hitter and belting a home run with three RBIs to beat Concord 3-0. An earlier loss was to then-national No. 2 San Clemente in the finals of the USA Baseball NHSI Championship game in North Carolina, 8-3.
3. Saint Francis (Mountain View) (3) 15-3Section: Central Coast
League: West Catholic Athletic
Update: The Lancers are in first place in the top league in Northern California, including a 5-1 win over ranked Mitty.
Jeremy Ydens earned the win vs. Mitty and had three hits. Saint Francis earlier won the Boras Baseball Classic Northern California Tournament title, beating Clovis West (Fresno) 1-0 in 10 innings after downing WCAL rival Serra (San Mateo) 5-4, Liberty (Bakersfield) 11-2 and Davis 5-0.
4. Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills) (14) 20-2Section: Sac-Joaquin
League: Sierra Foothill
Update: Top ranked by the Sacramento Bee, the Trojans are running away with a league race that has been dominated for years by Granite Bay, Rocklin and Woodcreek.

5. San Ramon Valley (Danville) (12) 12-2Section: North Coast
League: East Bay
Update: The Wolves beat California 5-4 as
Joey Matulovich had 12 strikeouts.
Connor Doyle has produced big hits. Matulovich beat then-No. 1 College Park 4-0 and had a no-hitter to beat Palo Alto and struck out 14 to beat Amador Valley (Pleasanton) 4-2.

Update: The Pumas beat Ukiah 4-0 as Clayton Andrews tossed a three-hitter with 15 strikeouts, setting up a big week against Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa) and Casa Grande (Petaluma). MC went 3-1 in the Boras Classic, beating Sacramento Bee highly ranked Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove) 11-6, Davis 5-1 and Oak Ridge 7-1.

Update: The WCAL is off to a rousing start, with Mitty in the mix after beating ranked Valley Christian (San Jose) 8-5 as
Derek Bauerle homered before a 5-1 setback to No. 3 Saint Francis. An earlier loss was 2-1 to Oak Ridge.

League: Delta
Update: Ranked third by The Sacramento Bee, the Marauders beat new ranked rival Franklin (Elk Grove) 3-1 and 7-6, and face ranked Elk Grove on Friday.
9. Serra (San Mateo) (8) 12-6Section: Central Coast
League: West Catholic Athletic
Update: The Padres beat rival Bellarmine 9-2 as
John Besse earned the win and
Scott Ota had three RBIs. Serra gets a rematch with Saint Francis after losing to the Lancers in the Boras Baseball Classic.
10. Valley Christian (San Jose) (9) 15-5Section: Central Coast
League: West Catholic Athletic
Update: The Warriors lost to Mitty 8-5 and beat Riordan (San Francisco) 3-2. An earlier loss was to top-ranked Los Gatos, 5-2.
11. De La Salle (Concord) (7) 8-5Section: North Coast
League: East Bay
Update: Pitchers
Justin Hooper and
Connor Redmond combined to four-hit Amador Valley (Pleasanton) 3-1. An earlier loss was by a run to Jesuit with a win over No. 12 Elk Grove. DLS went 3-1 in the National Classic.

League: Delta
Update: Ranked second by The Sacramento Bee, the Thundering Herd owns an earlier 2-1 win over Bellarmine. Elk Grove has persevered despite injuries to key players. A Delta League showdown looms Friday against ranked Jesuit.
13. Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose) (11) 15-5Section: Central Coast
League: West Catholic Athletic
Update: The Bells lost to ranked Serra and a tough one to St. Ignatius (San Francisco) 3-0. There are showdowns this week against ranked Valley Christian and Mitty.

Update: The Wildcats beat Grant (Sacramento) 3-2 and lost two close ones to Jesuit 3-1 and 7-6. Franklin went 4-0 in the Fresno Easter Tournament.

Update: The Cowboys are a player in the loaded EBAL with a 5-2 win over ranked San Ramon Valley, a 4-0 loss to De La Salle and a 5-2 win over ranked Monte Vista.

League: East Bay
Update: The Mustangs beat ranked California 8-7 with a late rally before losing to No. 15 Livermore 5-2. Big games loom against De La Salle and Amador Valley.

Update: The Patriots have a recent 3-0 win over No. 18 California and have been led by
Kevin Milam, who is 6-0 and leads the team with 14 RBIs.

Update: The Grizzlies got off to a 2-0 start in league play before falling to Monte Vista 8-7 and San Ramon Valley 5-4, which shows you how bunched up this super league is. The big recent win was 4-0 over then-No. 1 College Park to win the Elite 8 title.

Update: The winning streak is at 12, thanks to pitching and defense.
