Video: Freshman highlights - Bryce Osmond2016 Oklahoma Preseason Football Fab 5, presented by the Army National Guard
1. JenksHead coach: Allan Trimble
2015 record: 11-1
Team previewNot one. Not two. Not three. Not four. Not five? It may be slightly presumptuous to give the Jenks Trojans their fifth-consecutive state championship, but after winning their fourth-straight last fall, the reigning champs are once again the team to beat in 2016.
The Trojans will ask sophomore
Bryce Osmond, who threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns in limited playing time last year, to take over the quarterback position with some big shoes to fill. Luckily, he will have running back
Rueben Thompson and tight end
Reese Leitao both returning for their senior seasons. The defense will welcome back star defensive back
Jordon Curtis, who tallied 24 tackles and two interceptions last season.
Jenks is one of the more talented teams not only in Oklahoma, but in the entire country. Head coach Allan Trimble will have more than enough to make another deep playoff run.

2015 record: 9-2
Team previewThe Sabercats saw their season end far too soon after an upset loss in the first round crushed any championship hopes they may have had. Head coach Jeremy Stark and company have most of their largest contributors from last season returning for yet another run.
One of those returners include junior quarterback
Casey Thompson, who is quickly turning into one of the hottest recruits in Oklahoma after a 3,681 total yard campaign in 2015. Thompson will have the luxury of throwing and occasionally handing the ball to speedy wideout
Quian Williams. The defense will be full of experience and power with defensive backs Quindon Lewis and Gervarrius Owens, as well as linebacker tandem
Darrien Mack and
Rae'quan Wicks.
Southmoore may have been too young last season to finish close games, but this year's team is more experienced and very much ready to win its first state championship in school history.

2015 record: 11-2
Team previewBroken Arrow is back in action this season.

Broken Arrow was the runner-up in 2015, giving way to Jenks after a 35-14 loss. While they relied on a lot of their seniors to lead them to that championship game, the Tigers do have one of the better quarterbacks in Division 6A returning.
Cade Yeager will be back in the pocket after a 1,850-yard, 17-touchdown performance last year. Out in the flat and providing protection will be junior tight end
Devin Clayton. The Tigers' strong suit will likely be on the defensive side of the ball with linebacker
Carder Key, who is looking to build on his 72 tackles and four sacks that he compiled last season, and defensive end
Skyler Haynes both returning.
The Tigers may be in a bit of a rebuilding year, but they just might have enough senior leadership and experience to avenge their championship loss.

2015 record: 9-3
Team previewThe boys from Tulsa put up quite a show in the state playoffs last year, but it was all for naught with a loss in the semifinals to Jenks. Union may be a bit under the radar, simply because its record doesn't always reflect their talent due to a big strength of schedule. In hindsight, Union lost just three games all year -- two of those three came against Jenks, while the other came against Texas powerhouse Carroll.
The Redskins will happily and confidently be handing the ball off to senior running back
Shamari Brooks, who averaged 6.8 yards per carry and went on to rush for over 1,700 yards last year. Returning for his junior season is receiver
CJ Moore, who was one of the best wideouts in Division 6A-I with his 11 touchdowns.
Tre Brown will be taking care of the secondary, while linebacker
Kyrei Fisher will look to add to his four sacks from last season.
Union has some of the best recruits in the state, but it will be up to these talents to lead by example for the rest of their team in order to make it to the promised land.

2015 record: 9-4
Team previewThe Spartans had a few hiccups along the way to their 2015 6A-II championship, but what matters most is that they hit their stride at the right time. Believe it or not, Bixby may be an even better fit this year to make a championship run, as it returns some of the top players in the state.
Head coach Loren Montgomery's high-powered offense will have returners all over the field, including senior quarterback
Tanner Griffin, who led the district with his 3,248 passing yards. Junior running back
Tucker Pawley will be the primary option this season after being the secondary guy out of the backfield last season. Opening holes and leading the charge on the offensive line will be Oklahoma State commit
Brendon Evers. Returning junior linebacker
Coby Tillman racked up 159 tackles as a sophomore last year, while cornerback
Colton Tafoya will look to build on his five-interception season from last year.
Bixby will be tested right from the start, as Week 1 may be its toughest matchup of the season with an away game at Jenks. If they can put up a good performance against Jenks, the Spartans will head into the rest of their schedule with overwhelming confidence.
