Oklahoma State added its 12th verbal commit to the 2017 recruiting class on Saturday when wide receiver LaMarcus Morton pledged to the Cowboys.

Morton was a big part of the Gilmer (Texas) run to the Texas 4A-Division II state championship game, pulling in 34 passes for a team-high 589 yards with another team-high seven touchdowns. Morton pitched in with the run game as well.
