With the season nearly complete, there's a new team at the top of the rankings. Valley Christian, which beat Serra 4-3 for the Central Coast Section Open championship, climbs to the top spot. The Warriors replace Buchanan, which had been the No. 1 team all season.

- Top-ranked Valley Christian beat West Catholic Athletic League rival Serra 4-3 to win the Central Coast Section Open championship despite starting the season 8-9-1.
- No. 2 Elk Grove won its 10th Sac-Joaquin Section Division I North title with a 9-6 win over Delta League rival Davis and now sets aim on its eighth D-I section title in the same span under coach Jeff Carlson. Riley Lamb has led the way on the mound and at the plate.
- No. 3 Tracy eliminated Gregori and St. Mary's to repeat as Sac-Joaquin Section Division I South champions to set up a three-game series - and a rematch - with Elk Grove, which seeks a section three-peat.
- No. 9 Monte Vista and No. 10 De La Salle are on the opposite brackets in the North Coast Section Division I finals as the East Bay League rivals seek a showdown.
