Somonauk won against Indian Creek on Tuesday with 18 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Bobcats blew past the Hiawatha Hawks 18-1. The matchup marked the Bobcats' most dominant victory of the season.

The win was the third in a row for Somonauk, bringing their record up to 9-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Hiawatha, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Coming up, Somonauk will head out on the road to take on Plano at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
