The playoffs continue for the fortunate few teams still standing. The Sac-Joaquin Section completed its playoff runs for all divisions except Division I. Bellarmine (San Jose) is the new No. 1 team as the Central Coast Section Open Division included upsets.

Luke Rasmussen home run before falling to rival Bellarmine 5-2 in a semifinal.
3. (2) St. Francis (Mountain View) (26-5)The Lancers lost to WCAL rival Bellarmine 2-0 in the Central Coast Section Open playoffs and remain ranked highly for the overall body of work that includes winning the WCAL tournament.

The Blue Devils won the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I North title by beating rival and previous No. 1 Elk Grove 5-2 after the Blue Devils forced a winner-take-all finale earlier in the day. Next is No. 12 St. Mary's of Stockton for the D-I title.

6. (6) College Park (Pleasant Hill) (26-3)The Falcons are 3-0 in the North Coast Section D-II playoffs after beating Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa) 8-1, Petaluma 6-0 and Montgomery (Santa Rosa) 9-0. Next is No. 11 Marin Catholic for the title.
7. (8) San Ramon Valley (Danville) (20-7)The Wolves beat Pittsburg 9-1, Monte Vista (Danville) 10-5 and Berkeley 4-0 in North Coast Section D-I play. Next is rival No. 8 De La Salle in the finals.
8. (10) De La Salle (Concord) (20-7)The Spartans rolled early in the North Coast Section D-I field with wins over Castro Valley (12-0), Liberty (Brentwood) (14-1) and Foothill (Pleasanton) (1-0) to set up a Saturday title match with rival San Ramon Valley.
Austin Dondanville pitched well against Foothill.
9. (NR) Leland (San Jose) (22-9)Bounding into the rankings, the Chargers showed they belong with a 4-3 win over previous No. 4 Valley Christian in the Central Coast Section Open semifinals to earn a title match with No. 1 Bellarmine. Pitchers

Jeremy Sullivan have played well.
10. (4) Valley Christian (San Jose) (23-9)The Warriors survived the WCAL schedule and won two Central Coast Section Open playoff games, 2-1 over Soquel and 3-0 over Scotts Valley, before losing to Leland (San Jose) 4-3 in the semifinals.
11. (NR) Marin Catholic (Kentfield) (22-6)Not just a football power on campus, the Wildcats are rolling in the North Coast Section D-II playoffs with wins over Alameda (11-1) and Maria Carrillo (5-4). Next is No. 6 College Park for the title.

12. (NR) St. Mary's (Stockton) (20-13)The Rams won their sixth successive Sac-Joaquin Section D-I South title in outscoring their last four teams 36-0. Next is No. 4 Davis.

Matt Brown pitched a gem as the Panthers beat Christian Brothers (Sacramento) 2-1 in the Sac-Joaquin Section D-II finals.
18. (7) Clayton Valley Charter (Concord) (22-5)The Ugly Eagles started strong and finished with a 3-0 loss to Newark Memorial in the North Coast Section playoffs.
19. (11) Campolindo (Moraga) (20-5)The Cougars suffered just their second playoff loss since 2009 when they fell to Casa Grande (Pentaluma) 1-0 in the North Coast Section D-II field.
20. (21) Manteca (25-3)The Buffaloes rallied late to beat Vista del Lago (Folsom) 7-6 to win the Sac-Joaquin Section D-IV playoffs as
