But incredibly none of those players or teams made the cut for our Top 10 High School Football Plays of 2016. That's a testament to just how off-the-charts unbelievable these plays had to be in order to make our year-end look at the top highlights.
Topping the list out of Tennessee is one of the most incredible Hail Mary passes we've seen at any level of football. Back on Oct. 7 in a 31-24 loss to
Montgomery Bell Academy (Nashville),
Brentwood Academy connected on a 57-yard prayer as time expired in the first half thanks to a heads up play by junior
Camron Johnson.
Brentwood Academy lost that night but came back to beat MBA a month later in the state championship game.
