Gonzaga led 32-30 at the half before beginning to stretch things out in the third quarter. Runs of 6-0 and 12-2 in the fourth quarter pushed the lead to as many as 20 and put it away for the WCAC power.
Gonzaga dominated the box score, shooting 52.8 percent from the field and 50 percent from 3-point range while snagging 45 rebounds. Roosevelt shot 36.5 percent from the field, 16.0 percent from 3-point range and grabbed just 22 boards in the loss.
Roosevelt (23-2) closes out the regular season against
Corona (Calif.) on Thursday before taking on
Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, Nev.) on Saturday.
