Video: Final Top 25 national baseball rankings Argyle lands on top after compiling a 71-1-1 mark over past two seasons.
Silo (Okla.), holder of the nation's longest active winning streak and a pair of state championships, is the No. 1 team in the MaxPreps Small Schools national baseball rankings.
Silo went 33-0 in 2019 and also won its last seven games (including a state championship) in 2018 to give it a 40-game win streak heading into the 2010 season. Silo is one of four Oklahoma schools in the Top 25 small school rankings.
Silo edges out a pair of Louisiana teams for the top spot. Ouachita Christian, the Louisiana Division 4 state champion, is the No. 2 team in the rankings while Sterlington, the Class 3A state champion, is No. 3.
The small school rankings are based on the MaxPreps Computer rankings and include teams that play in state playoff divisions that include schools with less than 1,000 students. Teams are listed with their season record and their MaxPreps computer rating.
