Teniya Morant of
Houston (Germantown, Tenn.) didn't get her brother's height but apparently she has some of Ja Morant's game.
A 5-foot-3 senior guard, Teniya Morant comes by her athleticism naturally with her brother starring for the Memphis Grizzlies while dad Tee was high school teammate of Ray Allen before playing at HBCU Claflin University. Her mom, Jamie, was a high school point guard and played softball in college.
But Teniya has said in interviews that she wants her game to stand on its own merits.

"I don't focus on the fact that I'm his sister," Teniya told Togethxr.com. "I'm proud of him for sure, but I don't focus on it because I don't want other people to focus on it. And I want people to understand that I'm me."
Teniya is averaging 12.6 points per game along with 4.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.4 steals for the 16-6 Mustangs, who have won five in a row entering the weekend.
She doesn't hold any offers yet but Ja wasn't highly recruited before his coming out party at Murray State.
Her season got off to a tear as she hit for double-digit points in 13 of the team's first 14 games, including a high of 22 on Dec. 19 in a 70-45 win over St. Agnes Academy.
