Each year since 2006, MaxPreps has recognized outstanding
performers in high school basketball. The tradition continues to close
out the 2025-26 season by naming the top player in each state.
Selections are based on team success and individual excellence in
addition to local and state accolades.
Isaiah Wilks of
Millwood (Oklahoma City) is the 2025-26 MaxPreps Oklahoma High School Basketball Player of the Year. The 5-foot-10 senior guard led the Falcons to a 27-2 record and their second consecutive state championship.
For the season, Wilks averaged 22.3 points, 4.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game.
