Each year since 2006, MaxPreps has recognized outstanding
performers in high school basketball. The tradition continues to close
out the 2025-26 season by naming the top player in each state.
Selections are based on team success and individual excellence in
addition to local and state accolades.
For the season, Andrews averaged 30.7 points, 16.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.3 steals per game while shooting 60.9 percent from the field, 34.1 percent from 3-point range and 74.7 percent from the free throw line.

A four-time all-state selection, Andrews posted 19 double-doubles in 22 games and established a new career-high with 45 points in an 85-72 victory over Marion.
Regarded as the No. 18 prospect in the Class of 2026 by Rivals, Andrews signed with Arkansas over offers from Illinois, Marquette, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina State, Oklahoma, LSU, Texas Tech and USC.
