Dallas Jesuit's (TX) E.J. Smith had a big season opener against No. 7 DeSoto (TX) scoring four touchdowns and almost leading them to an upset win against the Eagles.

EJ Smith, son of Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith, dazzled Friday against one of the top defenses in America.

The electric athlete did it all for Dallas Jesuit (Texas) against the No. 7 team in the nation. He notched 87 receiving yards, 52 rushing yards and four total touchdowns in a 41-36 loss to DeSoto (Texas).

All four of EJ's scores came in the second half — showing the sophomore is already a gamer. The son of the Dallas Cowboy legend also holds an Division I offer from Jackson State.
