With the high school football regular season nearing the end in Florida, we are highlighting the state's rushing yardage leaders. Eleven pass-catchers in the Sunshine State have recorded at least 800 receiving yards.
Isaiah Hudson of
Sickles (Tampa) leads the state with 1,079 yards. The junior is averaging more than seven receptions a game. His marquee outing came Sept. 23 when the 5-foot-11 receiver corralled 11 receptions for 283 yards and a touchdown.
Kenari Wilcher of
Moore Haven is second in the state with 1,055 receiving yards. The senior jumped into the second spot after catching five passes for 210 yards and a score. He has 587 yards in his last three games. Wilcher has 10 offers including Kentucky, Illinois and Indiana.
Brandon Inniss of
American Heritage (Plantation) is No. 19 in the state with 740 receiving yards. The senior is committed to Ohio State and has had big games against some of the nation’s best teams including Lowndes (Valdosta, Ga.), Los Alamitos (Calif.) and Broward County rival Chaminade-Madonna.
