Murrieta Valley (Murrieta) will go on the road to take on No. 17
Chaparral (Temecula) in a battle of 5-1 squads. Chaparral is coming off a 55-28 win over
Vista Murrieta (Murrieta) where the Pumas put up 35 first-half points. Sophomore quarterback
Dane Weber passed for 234 yards and a score while running for 167 yards with three touchdowns.
Murrieta Valley also put up 35 first half points in its 42-27 victory over

Ty Isaia passed for three touchdowns in the win and has eight on the season without throwing an interception.

Clovis East (Clovis) will host
Central (Fresno) on Thursday. Clovis East improved to 6-0 after taking down crosstown rival
Clovis West (Fresno) 44-3 last week. Senior
Tyus Miller threw for 240 yards and three touchdowns in the win. Miller also eclipsed 8,000 passing yards in his career with 94 touchdown tosses.
Central (5-1) is coming off its first loss of the season in a 26-21 battle against
Clovis North (Fresno). Junior
Brandon Smith has nine touchdowns this year and headlines a strong Central rushing attack that averages nearly 150 yards per game.
