California, Texas and Florida dominate the MaxPreps Preseason All-American Baseball team, taking up 16 of the 30 positions on the elite squad.
Seven players from California dot the roster, which includes a number of members from Team USA and potential first-round Major League Baseball Draft picks. Texas is next with five while Florida has four.
A total of two juniors make the list in Spruce Creek's Kyle Marsh and Rancho Bernardo's Alex Jackson.

P - Stephen Gonsalves, Cathedral Catholic (San Diego), Senior
Named
to the All-San Diego Section team, Gonsalves also played for Team USA.
He had a perfect 9-0 record with 79 strikeouts and a 1.91 ERA in 66
innings pitched for the Dons.
P - Keegan Thompson, Cullman (Ala.), Senior

Named the Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 5A Pitcher of the Year, Thompson had a 7-2 record with 119 strikeouts and a 0.94 ERA in 67.1 innings pitched. He also batted .297
with 40 runs, 37 RBIs, 14 doubles, two triples and eight home runs.
P - Ian Clarkin, Madison (San Diego), Senior
A member of Team USA, Clarkin was 8-2 for Madison with 106 strikeouts and a 0.62 ERA in 68 innings pitched.
P - Kyle Marsh, Spruce Creek (Port Orange, Fla.), Junior
The Orlando Sentinel Central Florida Player of the Year, Marsh led Spruce Creek to the Class 8A state championship. He had an 11-0 record with a 0.43 ERA and 106 strikeouts in 72.2 innings pitched.
P - Rob Kaminsky, St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, N.J.), Senior
The New Jersey Gatorade State Player of the Year and the NJ.Com State Player of the Year, Kaminsky had an 8-2 record with a 0.20 ERA, three no-hitters and 103 strikeouts in 53 innings pitched.
P - Kohl Stewart, St. Pius X (Houston), Senior
Stewart played in both the Area Code Games and the Perfect Game All-American Classic and is expected to be selected in the first round of the MLB Draft.
P - Trey Ball, New Castle (Ind.), Senior
Ball boasted
a 6-2 record with a 1.45 ERA and 75 strikeouts in 53 innings pitched.
He also batted .434 with 11 doubles, five triples and five home runs to
go with 20 stolen bases and 27 RBIs.
P - Clinton Hollon, Woodford County (Versailles, Ky.), Senior
Regarded
by some ranking services as the top prospect in the country, Hollon
helped Woodford County win a state championship in Kentucky last year.
He posted a 3-0 record with a 1.68 ERA and 28 strikeouts in 25 innings
pitched.
P - Kevin Davis, T.R. Miller (Brewton, Ala.), Senior
A member of Team USA, Davis was the Class 3A State Pitcher of the Year. He had a 7-2 record last season with a 0.70 ERA and 139 strikeouts in 60 innings pitched.

The State Player of the Year in Minnesota as a junior, Shore went 6-0 with a 0.80 ERA and 51 strikeouts.
C - Jeremy Martinez, Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.), Senior
One of the nation's top draft prospects, Martinez made the Orange County Register All-County Team and the Southern Section All-Division I Team. He batted .388 with 18 RBIs last year.
C - Alex Jackson, Rancho Bernardo (San Diego), Junior
One of the top juniors in the country, Jackson was a MaxPreps Sophomore All-American after earning All-San Diego Section honors and batting .400 with 36 RBIs, five doubles and 17 home runs.
C - Chris Okey, Eustis (Fla.), SeniorOkey played for Team USA and batted .386 while earning All-Central Florida honors.
1B - Dominic Smith, Serra (Gardena, Calif.), Senior
Named the Wave All-Area Player of the Year, Smith batted .551 with 49 RBIs, 36 runs, eight doubles, four triples and nine home runs.
1B - Ryan Tellez, Elk Grove (Calif.), Senior
Named the Sacramento Bee All-Metro Player of the Year while batting .571 with eight doubles, three triples, six home runs and 48 RBIs.
IF - Jamie Westbrook, Basha (Chandler, Ariz.), Senior
The Coaches Association Division I Player of the Year in Arizona last year, Westbrook batted .532 with 35 RBIs and 13 home runs.
IF - Andy McGuire, Madison (Vienna, Va.), Senior
A member of Team USA, McGuire is considered a first-round MLB Draft prospect. He earned All-Liberty District honors last year.
IF - Cavan Biggio, St. Thomas Catholic (Houston), Senior

The son of former MLB standout Craig Biggio (who is also his coach), Cavan Biggio played a big role for Team USA over the summer. He batted .420 with 26 RBIs for St. Thomas.
IF - JP Crawford, Lakewood (Calif.), Senior
The MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year in 2010, Crawford was a member of the Long Beach Press Telegram Dream Team last year after batting .459 with 31 RBIs and 37 runs.
IF - Oscar Mercado, Gaither (Tampa, Fla.), Senior
Mercado should be one of the top high school infield prospects chosen in the MLB Draft. He earned All-Hillsborough County honors after batting .382 with 28 RBIs and 28 runs.
IF - Sheldon Neuse, Fossil Ridge (Keller, Texas), Senior
The top infield prospect in Texas, Neuse batted .443 with six triples and 26 RBIs.
OF - Corey Ray, Simeon (Chicago), Senior
The top player in Illinois, Ray batted .453 with five home runs and 35 RBIs last season while earning All-State honors.
OF - Clint Frazier, Loganville (Ga.), Senior
Frazier had a huge junior season with 24 home runs, 55 runs and 58 RBIs to go with a .424 batting average. He is considered one of the top outfield prospects for the MLB Draft and is a potential first-round pick.
OF - Austin Meadows, Grayson (Loganville, Ga.), Senior
Meadows could go among the top 10 picks in the MLB Draft. He batted .390 with 28 RBIs, 19 stolen bases and four home runs last year.
OF - Cody Thomas, Heritage (Colleyville, Texas), Senior
One of the state's top quarterbacks, Thomas made the Dallas Morning News All-Area Team in baseball after batting .429 with 10 home runs and 33 RBIs.

Classic. For Red Wing, Boldt batted .419 with 24 RBIs, three home runs, nine
doubles and 22 runs scored in 24 games.

Houston 5A Baseball selected Buckner Hitter of the Year after he batted .500 with 10 home runs.
UT - Justin Williams, Terrebonne (Houma, La.), Senior
Named to the Louisiana Sports Writers Class 5A All-State Team, Williams batted .519 with eight home runs and 25 RBIs.
UT - Zack Collins, American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.), Senior
A first baseman and catcher for the defending state champions, Collins batted .442 with 11 doubles and 31 RBIs.
UT - Reese McGuire, Kentwood (Covington, Wash.), Senior
Named to the Washington Coaches Association All-State Team and the Seattle Times All-Area Team, McGuire batted .418 with 32 RBIs and four home runs last year.
