Cordell Broadus is a 4-star receiving recruit for the Gaels, and fellow rapper Flavor Flav have collaborated on a "
Bishop Gorman Move Them Chains" theme song.
Both were in attendance — as they are at every home game — in Friday's nationally televised 34-31 win over St. John Bosco. The win moved Gorman to 6-0. The Gaels host
Shadow Ridge (Las Vegas) Thursday.
The 3 minute, 40-second anthem is participatory, with lyrics like: "When I say ‘Go,' you say ‘Gaels,' – GO. … GAELS. … GO. … GAELS. … GO. …GAELS."
The highlight is an ode to the famed "I believe that we will win" chant done at nearly every school, which is finished off with "Matter of fact, I know we'll win."
