The
DeMatha football players were all business when it came time for their Preseason Top 25 photo shoot with photographer
Richard Ta.
Ta, who lives in New Jersey and is a member of the
MaxPreps Photographers' Network, photographed eight top players along with head coach Elijah Brooks during the shoot that was done in May.
"The players were very well behaved," Ta said. "They did joke around a bit, but were very responsive when I asked for them to pose. I managed to watch them work out for a good hour. They just seemed focused on training for the upcoming season."
Ta staged the shoot on-campus using a grassy area for the individual photos and also took some group shots in front of a statue of the school's mascot — a stag.
