Video: Xcellent 25 football rankings presented by the Army National Guard
Mater Dei, IMG locked in up top, but see who made moves in this week's rankings.
While the top 5 remained solid in this week's Composite Top 25 Rankings, perennial California power De La Salle made the week's biggest jump after an impressive Week 10 win over San Ramon Valley (Danville, Calif.). The Spartans, who haven't been beaten by a Northern California team since 1991, earned the top seed in the NorCal Open Division playoffs.
New to this week's Composite Rankings are Archer (Lawrenceville, Ga.) and Brentwood Academy (Tenn.).
Only schools recognized by two or more media outlets are eligible for
inclusion in the composite rankings. Teams were assigned a score of 40
for each media outlet that did not recognize them as part of their Top
25, rewarding teams that received consensus acclaim.
