Archbishop Mitty (San Jose), 17-13-1Notes: - No. 2 Elk Grove finished the season by winning 15 of its final 16 games, including a 6-0 run in the playoffs to three-peat as Sac-Joaquin Section Division I champions. The Thundering Herd beat Tracy 4-1 and 22-6 in the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I finals, scoring 15 times in the fourth inning in the clinching game - 14 of those with two outs.
Riley Lamb went 3-0 in the playoffs and hit the last of his three home runs in the rout of Tracy.
- New No. 3 De La Salle beat East Bay Athletic League rival Monte Vista 4-3 in eight innings to repeat as North Coast Section Division I champions. De La Salle lost twice to Monte Vista in league play and fell to Granada 4-3 in the opener of the postseason league tournament.
Cullen Kafka and
Nick Cirelli combined to strike out 10 Monte Vista batters in the title game.
- New No. 14 Arroyo bounced back from a 1-2-1 start to the season with a 10-game winning streak and beat Casa Grande 6-4 for the North Coast Section Division II title.
Adrian Padilla earned the win, and Arroyo scored four unearned runs.
- New No. 16 Drake stunned previously unbeaten Miramonte 4-3 to win the North Coast Section Division III championship. But it wasn't much of a fluke considering Drake opened the season with a 12-0 start and won its league and league tournament.
