Kayvon Thibodeaux announced Friday afternoon that he's transferring from
Dorsey (Los Angeles) to
Oaks Christian (Westlake Village) via Twitter.
The 6-foot-5, 235-pound defensive end earned MaxPreps Sophomore All-American honors last fall. He piled up 27 tackles for loss and 17 sacks, leading Dorsey to the Los Angeles City Section Division I championship game.
USC is considered the early leader for Thibodeaux's services but he has nearly 30 offers, including Alabama, Florida State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Texas.
Thibodeaux played basketball this winter, averaging 4.2 points per game for the 24-win Dons.
Oaks Christian is coming off an 8-3 season. The program won 10 or more games for eight consecutive seasons between 2004 and 2012.

Kayvon Thibodeaux has offers from Alabama, Florida State, Michigan, Notre Dame and USC among others.
