Christ School (Arden, N.C.) Vs Iowa United (IA)
Monday, 11:30 a.m.
An EYBL Scholastic battle, Christ School is headlined by West Virginia commit
Kingston Whitty, who dominated the UAA circuit with Pro One this summer. In addition to his basketball talent, Whitty was a two-time Georgia state champion in track and field in both the 400-meter dash and high jump. Albany commit
Tyler Jones and top 100 ranked junior
Trevor Manhertz are other notable prospects to watch for Christ School. For Iowa United, it all starts with the number one center in the 2026 class, Houston commit Arafan Diane. Diane is a physical force on both ends of the court and is the latest high profile high school prospect to commit to Kelvin Sampson and the Cougars. Surrounding Diane are senior guards Jordan Sigmon and Navon Shabazz (Murray State). Top 75 ranked junior Godson Okokoh holds offers to Cincinnati, Kansas, Missouri, UCLA, Creighton and more. Expect this game to come down to how well Christ School keeps Diane off the offensive glass, because any extra possessions he creates will likely end in a bucket or a foul in the paint.
Margaretta (Castalia, Ohio) Vs Northridge (Dayton, Ohio)
Monday, 1:15 a.m.
Margaretta and Northridge is the battle of the Polar Bears. It would be hard to find a better match-up of wing guards in Ohio than
Julian Washington vs
Keonte Smith. Washington, a University of Dayton commit, has led Margaretta to a combined 48-5 record in the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons. Smith earned a 3SSB 15 U championship with the Midwest Basketball Club in the summer. Keonte’s older brother
Deonte Smith and guard
Dorryen Davis are both returning starters from last season's team that won 21 games and went unbeaten in the Three Rivers Conference. Other notable prospects for Margaretta include senior guard
Judah Keller, who was recently named first team all state for football in Division VI, and twins
Kale Bailey and
Tyson Bailey. Margaretta came to Flyin’ To The Hoop last season where they defeated Valley View 86-51 behind 35 points and 14 rebounds from Julian Washington.
La Lumiere (La Porte, Ind.) Vs Utah Prep (Hurricane, Utah)
Monday, 3 p.m.
Utah Prep drew national attention in their first season as a basketball prep program thanks to Aj Dybantsa, a projected top pick in the 2026 NBA draft. This season, they are led by top 100 ranked seniors
Anthony Felesi and
Jackson Kiss. Felesi is committed to Pitt and is known as a knockdown perimeter shooter who can play on and off the ball. Kiss is committed to Iowa State and is one of the more physical bigs in the country. UP's hands will be full against a La Lumiere team that has top talent up and down the roster. In the class of 2026 La Lumiere has three players ranked in the top 150 nationally in Jonathan Sanderson, Jacob Webber and Gan Solongo. In the class of 2027 four star Devin Cleveland draws the headlines but three stars Peyton Kemp and Ferlandes Wright are other marquee names to know for the Lakers.
Warrensville Heights (Warrensville, Ohio) @ Fairmont (Kettering, Ohio)
Monday, 4:45 p.m.
Host Fairmont is led by
Jayden McGraw, a 6’3 junior who averaged over nine points and six rebounds per game as a sophomore. Other names to watch for Fairmont include senior guards
Kaden Ralston and
Nolan Stringer. The Firebirds will be met by Warrensville Heights, a program on the rise under Head Coach Demetrius Johnson. Sophomore center
Qwayland Howard, who holds a handful of Division I offers, headlines the Tigers prospects. Add in senior returners
Camden Hill and
Jalen Gum as well as Lutheran East transfer
Jayden NellemsBey and the Tigers have plenty of talent to compete for a regional title in Division IV. This game could be a clash of styles as Warrensville Heights will want to push the pace. Fairmont is comfortable playing games in the 40s and 50s.
Indian Hill (Cincinnati, Ohio) Vs Tri-Village (New Madison, Ohio)
Monday, 6:30 p.m.
Head Coach Josh Sagester has built Tri Village into a small town powerhouse in southwest Ohio and he has one final run with his son Trey, as the pair will look to bring a state title back to New Madison for the first time since 2015. The Patriots last made it to the state title game at UD Arena in 2022, falling to Richmond Heights. The Patriots are led by
Trey Sagester who is a two time first team all state quarterback as well as the reigning OHSAA Division VI player of the year in basketball. Senior
Noah Finkbine has been alongside Sagester on both the hardwood and gridiron and holds an offer to Rio Grande for football. Junior
Dominic Black is a returning double-digit scorer from last season and should finish near the top of the Western Ohio Athletic Conference in rebounding. Indian Hill is led by senior
Jack Huwel, who leads the team in both scoring and rebounding. Junior
Anthony Smith is another name to know on Indian Hill, he's second on the team in scoring and had a 31 point explosion in the season opener against Huntington Expression Prep.
