These were the game changers who made most of the buckets in 2019-20. 

These were the 50 most prolific high school basketball players who put the ball in the basket with most frequency per 32 minutes.

Of the 50, 31 were seniors, 11 were juniors and four each were sophomores and freshmen.

The filled it up from a variety of spots and places, both on the floor and in the country as 22 states were represented, led by North Carolina (7), New York (6) and Florida (4).

Alabama, Texas, Missouri, Indiana and California had three players represented in the 50, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Utah had two, and Washington D.C., Colorado, Washington, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Georgia, Minnesota, Tennessee and South Dakota each had one player on the list.

The season leader was Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (Athens, Ala.) senior Tommy Murr at 44.3 points per game followed closely by Finney (Penfield, N.Y.) freshman Markus Robinson, who led most of the season but finished at 43.5. Nobody else averaged more than 40.0 points per game.

Though San Ysidro (San Diego) freshman Mikey Williams finished just below 30 points per game at 29.9, he had the high game of the year with a 77-point explosion in a 116-42 win over Kearney on Dec. 13 when he made 29 field goals, including nine 3-pointers. Williams, a 6-foot-4 point guard, is considered one of the nation's top recruits from the Class of 2023.
