Holton Ahlers of
D.H. Conley (Greenville, N.C.) isn't going to forget his last regular season high school football game.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pound lefty completed 26-of-37 passes for 589 yards and nine touchdowns (tying a state record) while also rushing for 120 yards and two more scores, leading the Vikings to a 78-43 win over South Central (Winterville).
That's a total of 709 yards and 11 touchdowns for the East Carolina commitment as D.H. Conley won its 10th straight game.
Ahlers is having a huge season for the Vikings (10-1), throwing for 3,190 yards and 52 touchdowns while rushing for 811 and 13 scores. He will look to add to his staggering totals beginning next week in North Carolina's Class 3A state playoffs.
Ahlers has also starred in baseball and basketball and D.H. Conley. He committed to the East Carolina football program in January.
