The Golden Bears used a smothering 2-3 zone to force Hebron Christian into an uncharacteristically poor shooting night. The Lions were 0 for 19 from 3-point range and 11 of 19 from the free throw line.

Loriel Murray opened the scoring in the paint and
Makayla Weaver added the next five on a bucket and 3-pointer as the Golden Bears blitzed through the first quarter with a 19-5 lead after eight minutes.

The lead was 25-14 at intermission as Hebron couldn't gain momentum against the packed zone.
Hebron Christian started the second half on a 7-2 run.
Mia James hit a pair of free throws followed by an old-fashioned 3-point play from
Danielle Osho and a coast-to-coast fast break from James to cut the Holy Innocents edge to 27-21 three minutes into the third.
James finished with 12 points.
But Swain, a McDonald's All American, answered back with her own 3-point play on the next possession to boost the lead back to nine as the Golden Bears held the same 11-point edge after three quarters.
Osho, who led Hebron Christian in scoring with 16 points, converted on back-to-back possessions for the Lions to cut the deficit to 42-35 with six minutes left in the game. After a bucket and two free throws from sophomore
Nakhai Worthy, Swain iced the game with eight straight points over the final 3:20.
In addition to the game-high 30, Swain added 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals while earning game MVP honors.
