MaxPreps' Zack Poff found David Wells over the weekend at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship Tournament and chatted about a variety of topics.

Why Wells? Because he was the head coach for Point Loma (San Diego) this past season, and he's got opinions on what high school-aged players should be focusing on.

"I stress upon getting rest, especially pitchers," Wells said.

The man who threw a perfect game for the New York Yankees (and won 239 games in his career) also talked about his high school days at Point Loma and how his first year as a coach went.
